This Wednesday, April 11th, massmouth, inc.'s third season Story Slam comes to a conclusion with the BigMouthOff at the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline at 7pm. Tickets are going fast, so if you haven't picked up your ticket, you can purchase it here at eventbrite.
Feel free to see a video of all of the previous story slam finalists here: http://goo.gl/fD4AO
Some of the stories you will hear at our BigMouthOff include:
One storyteller as a teenage boy forged his mother’s signature and his assistant principal father gave him a more-than-he-bargained-for verbal tirade. Another storyteller "thought" he was eating beef for the first time in his life until he had a conversation with his mother through a low bandwidth video chat.
Have you ever given a friend a non-material gift? This storyteller has, by giving his friend ethymology, a button, and an accompanying story about a sacred dance. Home alone, a girlfriend makes emergency call to her boyfriend, and teenage storyteller swings into action. In this story, a long ride on a new, giant unicycle sounds like a great idea. What could possibly go wrong?
Even more stories will be told at the BigMouthOff. We hope to see you all there.
