Where's my "Labels" Slam Review??

So… I messed up.  For those of you who were looking forward to a review of Saturday’s slam “Labels” - at our newest venue I am ashamed to say: I’ve got nothin’.

Sooooorry.

To keep the excuses brief: I couldn’t find someone to cover the slam in time, and I wasn’t able to stay for the whole show myself.  Please, accept my deepest apologies.

The goal of this Blog is to offer interesting content on a regular basis, and to consistently cover the events we, and others in the community organize.  We want it to be a forum for people – all people -- to discuss everything to do with storytelling.  The way I see it, one of the ways of making this a reality is by encouraging as many people to contribute as possible, both as writers and commenters.  As it stands, we have incredible, but limited staff and volunteer support, and we could really use yours.

And the Volunteer Drought of ‘12 is not just limited to Blog writers!  We’re still looking for folks to help with check-in, judging, to serve as timekeepers (and more!) – at a minimum of 4 different venues! We’re also looking for people who want to help us harass strangers and hand out flyers as part of “street teams”!

What’s in it for you?  Volunteers get into slams free!  Want my first-born?  Let’s talk! Also a byline in any posts you author and all the gratitude and high-fives you can take!
